Dr. Arnaud BRIAT  is a biologist with years of experience in the fields of biomedical research and molecular imaging. He obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2003 at INSERM U877 “Radiopharmaceuticals Bioclinicals”, Joseph Fourier University (Grenoble, France). This laboratory focuses on the development of new radiotracers for the diagnosis, the prognostic and therapy of mainly cardiovascular diseases, metabolism alterations (diabetes), neurodegenerative diseases and oncology in Nuclear Medicine. He also obtained the University Diploma authorizing the supervision of animal experimentation from Claude Bernard University and the School of Veterinary Medicine (Lyon, France). From 2003, he joined a Cancer Research UK clinical center in London where he actively participated to the design of transgenic models for the optical and nuclear in vivo imaging of gene expression. He was also involved in the development of innovative therapeutic approaches in oncology (viral gene therapy) and in the evaluation of current PET tracers for the assessment of tumor response to therapy. After two years as the manager of the oncology group (back at INSERM U877 in 2008), Dr Arnaud Briat acts as Scientific Project Manager of Animascope.
